World's Smallest FPS

I was reading the latest issue Computer Gaming World when I came across an article for the world's smallest first-person shooter. It's called .kkrieger, made by a group called .theprodukkt. The actual game is only a 96k executable file.

They plan to release it in chapters, and the first chapter is still in beta, so it is very buggy. It also requires a relatively high-end machine to run properly. I would have liked to try the game, but it kept crashing while loading; a problem they are aware of. They plan to release a version with extra content and bug fixes "in late July or early August," so I plan on checking back regularly so that I can actually see the game in action.

Anyway, if you would like to learn more about .kkrieger, or the technology behind it, then head on over to theprodukkt.com. They also have some screenshots of the game that look pretty damn good. Here are two:

Works for me, too. Apparently it generates the textures, level, sounds, etc.
